I am an Italian native living in Northern California. I write memoir and food stories, cook a lot and photograph the world around me. Getting excited about carrots would have seemed excessive. I used to go egg hunting as a child. When visiting friends with chickens, I would go into the henhouse to look for an egg for myself.

Brushstrokes of clouds and a hotspot where the sun glided behind the fog. The fog at the horizon is ready to swarm ashore. It tarries and I steal some time with the cloud-marbled sky. All that was white turned orange. The sun dips below the west with a fiery sigh. The fog will soon erase colors and shapes. Will only abdicate to the night. The View from San Giorgio Maggiore.

Siamo arrivati da un paio di giorni a Laash. Sono molto teso perchè credo che il mio destino si deciderà in questa città incastonata nelle più alte vette del pianeta. Vedo Veena, lo sceriffo, solo a pranzo. Esce subito dopo aver consumato qualcosa di sostanzioso a base di carne e vino di more zeldane,non troppo alcolico, scaldato al fuoco. Veena non vuole che la segua nelle sue investigazioni, dice che è troppo pericoloso per me e per le indagini farmi vedere troppo in giro.
